Search continues for missing university student

September 27, 2013
Associated Press

BURNSVILLE, Minn. (AP) — Family and friends of a missing University of Minnesota student continue to look for the 20-year-old woman while police are warning that public participation in a search could compromise a possible crime scene.

The family of Anarae Schunk says the greatest potential contamination of any possible evidence is time. The Star Tribune (http://bit.ly/1bIwQwV ) says Schunk's family is asking for "all hands on deck to bring her home safely."

Schunk has been missing since early Sunday after she was seen with her ex-boyfriend, Anthony Lee Nelson, at Nina's Grill in Burnsville. Nelson is charged with fatally shooting Palagor Obang Jobi in the parking lot after they'd gotten in a fight because Nelson was angry that he was talking to his girlfriend. That woman, Ashley Conrade, is charged with harboring Nelson at her townhouse until his arrest Tuesday.
