Rake, Iowa — Alma H. Engelby, 90, of Rake, Iowa departed from this life on April 28, 2008 at Timely Mission Nursing Home in Buffalo Center, Iowa. Memorial services were held May 2, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church in Rake with Pastor Larry Rehlander officiating. Interment was in West Cemetery, Rake.
Winter Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.
Alma Hazel Engelby, daughter of Joseph and Emma (Gangstee) Tuttle, was born March 25, 1918 in Kossuth County, Iowa.
She is survived by her children: Karen Barry of Rake and Arlan Engelby of Lake Mills; a sister Murreen Peterson of Fairfield, Iowa; a brother Arnold Tuttle of Albert Lea; and by a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
