A tract commencing at the Southeast corner of the West Half of the South East Quarter (W1/2 of SE1/4) of Section Thirty-two (32) in Township One Hundred and One (101) North of Range Twenty-seven (27) West of the Fifth Principal Meridian in the County of Faribault, State of Minnesota, thence North along the East line of the West Half of said South East Quarter (SE1/4) a distance of Fifty-seven (57) rods to the point of beginning, thence West along a line parallel to the South line of said South East Quarter twelve (12) rods, thence North along a line parallel to the East line of the West Half of said South East Quarter Eight (8) rods, thence East along a line parallel to the South line of said South East Quarter twelve (12) rods, and thence South along the East line of the West Half of said South East Quarter eight (8) rods to the point of beginning, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the East two rods as measured at right angles from the east line thereof, for street purposes.

The object of this action is to obtain a judgment that Plaintiff is the owner in fee of the above described real property and that none of the said Defendants have any estate or interest therein or lien thereon.

The Blue Earth Planning Commission has scheduled a hearing at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2009 in the Council Chambers of City Hall to consider the following request of United Hospital District, 515 S. Moore Street, Blue Earth MN;

Multiple variances for property that will be a parking lot location described as the East half of the East half of Block 3 of McArthur’s Addition. Variances are needed from the screening Section 1040.04, Subd. 6, 8, and 9 to enable compliance with adjacent property requests and as shown in architect’s drawings available at City Hall, from 1040.07, Subd. 2 C to allow for the location of the parking lot at 3 foot rather than the 5 foot space from street right-of-way, from 1040.07 Subd. 4 A to allow for a 24 foot access drive on the south and east, from 1040.07 D from the requirement of a five foot fence around the total lot and replace with vegetation screening, and from 1040.07 Subd. 3 B to allow for 18 x 9 foot parking stalls with a 24 foot driving area, all as specified in the architect’s drawings as presented.

AVAILABILITY

The South Central Workforce Council will release a Request for Proposal (RFP) on Thursday, October 8th, soliciting offers to provide workforce development services for low income youth under Title I of the Workforce Investment Act. The RFP is being issued for the operation of youth services in the nine county area of Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, LeSueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca and Watonwan Counties.
