The Blue Earth VFW baseball team (ages 16 and under) recently completed their season with a 3-11 record and are entering post-season play.
Most of the team’s losses came by just one run. They fell twice by scores of 9-8 and twice by 3-2.
They ended the season with a win and a loss to Lake Crystal in a doubleheader; winning 3-2 and losing 8-6.
The team now is playing in the South Division of the Second District Tournament. They faced New Ulm in Fairmont last Thursday and played again last Friday.
