Jacksonville, Fla. – Daniel L. Hanson, age 51, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Chatfield and former owner of Bake My Day in Winnebago, died of cancer Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Community Hospice in Jacksonville.
He was born Dec. 15, 1959, in Rochester, the son of Stanley and Phyllis (Pavlish) Hanson.
He is survived by his wife, Sherie Hanson, of Jacksonville; children, Eric (Caroline) Tentis, Minot, N.D., Angela Tentis and Vincent Tentis, both of Jacksonville; one grandson; father, Stanley Hanson, of Chatfield; brothers, David Hanson, of Tempe, Ariz., and Matt (Laura) Hanson, of Chatfield; father-in-law, Richard Elstad, of Wabasha; brothers-in-law, Alan Elstad, of La Crosse, Wis., and Russell (Wendy) Elstad, of Nelson, Wis.; sisters-in-law, Robin (Dennis) Ender, of Lake City, and Kathleen (Richard) Leopold, of Shakopee.
A Memorial Service is being held Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at 4 p.m. at the Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha with the Rev. Roger Claxton officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service.
