The Bucs had a 123.9 score to claim first, while the Saints tallied 112.575 points.
BEA was led by Chante Anderson who placed first in all-around with a score of 33.75.
Anderson took first on the uneven parallel bars with a score of 8.7. She was also first on the balance beam scoring 8.35.
Anderson placed third on the floor exercise with an 8.4 and fourth on the vault with an 8.3.
Haley Resutek placed third in all-around with a score of 30.925.
She claimed first place in floor exercise with an 8.525.
Resutek was also third on the vault with 8.7 and fourth on the bars with 6.9.
The Bucs Cassie Thompson came in with a fourth place finish in all-around, scoring 30.6.
Thompson was second on the vault with 8.85, third on the bars with 7.1 and fourth on floor exercise with an 8.25.
Kayla Schaper also competed in all-around for BEA and came in with a score of 28.625. She placed fourth on the beam with 7.025.
The Bucs junior varsity team also pulled out a win over the Saints, by a score of 72.6 to 52.3.
The Bucs fell in a close match against Martin County Area on Saturday, Jan. 5.
The final score was MCA 129.275, BEA 123.875.
The Bucs had four of the top five finishers in all-around, but could not muster enough points to pull out the win.
BEA’s Cassie Thompson led the way for the Bucs with a score of 32.325 in all-around.
She was second on the vault, third on the bars and floor and fourth on the beam.
Chante Anderson was third in all-around with a score of 31.225. She placed first on the bars and fourth on the floor.
Haley Resutek took fourth in all-around with a 29.9, taking third on the vault. Kayla Schaper was fifth all-around with a 29.025.
The Buc junior varsity team lost 116.8 to 80.65.
