Three persons seriously injured during last month's home invasion-homicide in Blue Earth are out of the hospital.

Candice Freeman says she and her two teenage daughters were released from St. Marys Hospital in Rochester about three weeks ago.

"We are all doing well. We're still receiving ongoing medical treatment," she says.

The three were treated at United Hospital in Blue Earth before being transported to Rochester.

Freeman says she is appreciativefor the assistance and care provided by local law enforcement officials and Blue Earth Ambulance crew members.

She says members of the public also have shown their support.

"There have been a lot of people who have been praying for us," she says. "There are many out there who really care. I really thank them for that."
