The girls track and field team took home the second-place team trophy at the Class A State True Team Meet held May 19 in Stillwater.
The Bucs collected 426 points, behind defending champion Esko with 465.5.
It was the fifth straight year BEA has finished in the "Top 3" in the nine-team field.
"I'm extremely elated and couldn't be happier with how we performed. In six events we had people finishing in the top five. That's rare in a True Team meet," says head coach Tom Plocker. "We did everything we could, and more."
United South Central/Alden Conger took sixth place with 316.5 points.
Again leading the Bucs were standouts senior Marissia Hagedorn and junior Krista Hassing.
Hagedorn claimed first in the 100-meter high hurdles in 16.37 seconds and 300-meter lows with a time of 48.66 seconds.
Taylor Grandgenett was second in the 300 lows in 48.71 seconds, while Chante Anderson was fifth in the 100 highs in 17.90 seconds.
In the pole vault, Hagedorn cleared 10 feet, 6 inches to win the event.
Hassing won the 400-meter dash in 59.78 seconds and 800-meter run in 2:23.41. She was second in the triple jump with a distance of 34 feet, 4 1/2 inches.
Karli Olsen took second in the 400-meter dash in 61.88 seconds and third in the long jump with a leap of 16 1/2 inches.
Taking fifth in the long jump was the Bucs Miranda Johnson with a mark of 15 feet, 4 3/4 inches.
In the sprints, Anne Franta was clocked in 27.31 seconds to place second in the 200-meter dash.
Skylee Bell took third in the 100-meter dash in 13.99 seconds, while Franta was fifth in 14.05.
The Rebels Emily Mantor had a big day in the distance races.
She took first place in the 3,200-meter run in 11:32.28 and was runnerup in the 1,600-meter run in 5:25.48.
Teammate Bethany Koziolek crossed the finish line with a time of 12:06.94 to take fourth in the 3,200-meter run.
The Bucs had one winning relay and two others taking second.
The foursome of Hassing (2:23.9), Shayna Stevermer (2:38.3), Kaitlyn Olsen (2:41.4) and Taylor Grandgenett (2:37.9) combined for a first-place time of 10:20.1 in the 4 x 800.
Taking second in the 4 x 200 in 1:52.75 were Frannie Tetzlaff (28.9), Miranda Johnson (29.3), Bell (27.2) and Franta (27.3).
In the 4 x 400, Taylor Grandgenett (62.5), Stevermer (65.2), Hagedorn (64.8) and Karli Olsen posted a second-place time of 4:12.89.
The Rebels were fourth in the 4 x 100 with a time of 53.90 seconds.
USC/AC also was fourth in the 4 x 800 with a time of 10:34.91.
BEA's 4 x 100 squad of Paige Darrington, Annemarie Hoyt, Sara Warmka and Bell took fifth in 54.47 seconds.
