USC boys, girls golf take 4th

Both the United South Central Rebels boys and girls golf teams ended up in fourth place at the State Class A Golf Tournament held last week at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker.

The Rebel boys had a two day team total of 677 strokes to land them in the fourth place position.

The boys were led by USC’s Ryan Pederson who shot a 157 total for the two day tournament, held on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 11 and 12.

His score put the Rebel freshman in fifth place at State.

Nate Pederson placed 10th in State by carding a two-day total score of 160.

Nick Neubauer tied for 57th place with a score of 180 and Seth Olson was close behind with his two-day tally of 181.

Also competing were Rebels Cobi Bullerman who shot a 193 for 79th place and Brett Ulrich who had to withdraw from the tourney.

USC’s Ali Wood led the Rebel girls by firing a two-day tally of 182 to end up in 15th place at State and help the team to its fourth place finish.

The Rebel girls shot a combined team total of 785 strokes.

USC’s Veronica Schindler was in 44th place with a score of 202.
