Blue Earth Ethan Rorman, age 16, of Blue Earth, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on March 4, 2014, at SS Peter and Paul?Catholic Church in Blue Earth. The Rev. Peter Klein officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Blue Earth. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Blue Earth assisted the family with the arrangements.
Ethan was born Dec. 21, 1997, in Fairmont, the son of Duane and Nancy (Engesser) Rorman. He was raised in Blue Earth where he was currently a sophomore at Blue Earth Area High School. Ethan was a good friend and always enjoyed hanging out with his classmates and family. He was an excellent athlete and participated in school baseball, football and basketball; his favorite. He was an avid xbox player and enjoyed taking care of Max, the family dog. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Ethan is survived by his parents, Duane and Nancy Rorman; siblings, Christina (Jeff) Rosamond, of Mankato, Jacob Rorman, of Mankato, Alicia Rorman, of Mankato, Lucas Rorman, of Mankato, and Caitlin Rorman, of Blue Earth; grandmother, Mavis Beckius, of Blue Earth; grandfather, Richard Engesser, of Blue Earth; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dolores Engesser.
Expressions of sympathy are preferred in the form of memorial donations to the Ethan Rorman Memorial Fund.
