NOTICE OF HEARING ON VIEWERS REPORTS

Notice is hereby given, that a proceeding has been commenced by the Drainage Authority of County Ditch #25 Branch A Faribault County, Minnesota, for the redetermination of benefits and damages and benefited areas and damaged areas of said drainage system.

That the proceeding is pending.

That the viewers appointed herein have made and filed their report in the office of the Faribault County Auditor-Treasurer in Blue Earth, Minnesota.

That the following is a brief description of the lands drained by County Ditch #25 Branch A by its main open ditch, various laterals, extensions and tile systems. Said system drains all or part of the following townships in Faribault County Barber Township Section 36; Walnut Lake Township Sections 30, 31, 32; Brush Creek Township Section 6.

That the names of the owners thereof, and municipal and other corporations affected thereby, as shown by the Viewer's Report are as follows: Ramona Amundson, Paul B & Marsha Bloom, Charlene L Borris, Frank L Cusick Family Trust, Leo Danks, Kerry and Angela Doyle, Dawn Doyle, Brandon Goodrich, Byron & Norma Goodrich, Kark Family Farms LLP, Leo & Lawrence Killion, Darlene & Thilmer Legried, K&S Malecha Investments, Shirlee Jelle Etal, Julie Martin, Michael & Debra McCarty, Mark & Donna Sonnek, Faribault County Highway Department, Brush Creek Township, Walnut Lake Township.

AND THAT, THEREFORE, on April 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Faribault County Ag Center Meeting Room, 415 South Grove St in Blue Earth, MN the Drainage Authority of said system shall hear and consider said viewers' report, and all the persons interested in the redetermination of benefits are invited to appear and be heard before the Drainage Authority, for and against the proposed redetermination of benefits with respect to any other matters in connection therewith. A copy of the viewers' report can be examined at the office of the Faribault County Auditor, 415 North Main, Blue Earth MN. RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals for the work described below will be received by the City Administrator at the 125 W. 6th Street, Blue Earth, MN 56013 until 11:30 a.m. on April 16, 2014, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the following:

A. Replace two primary clarifier sludge pumps and associated piping, valves and meter as shown on the plans.

B. Install new sludge loadout pump and associated piping and valves in the digester building as shown on the plans.

C. Replace boiler in digester building and all associated piping.

D. Replace sediment trap, drip trap and horizontal flame trap.

COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be complete within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.

MINIMUM CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: The Bidder shall have experience as a General Contractor in the successful completion of at least three municipal water or wastewater treatment plants within the last five (5) years.

PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of the Contract.

The Bid, Agreement, and Bonds shall be conditioned upon compliance with all provisions of the Bid Documents.
