In his best imitation of Superman, Brayden Barnett attempts to fly over the Wells Legion catcher at home plate in this action during the double-header action in Blue Earth last Monday. Unfortunately for Blue Earth fans, the catcher was able to maintain control of the ball despite the collision and Barnett was called out.

In the second game of the double dip, Blue Earth/Winnebago lost in a pitching duel, 1-0. Pitcher Jared Kennedy tossed a complete game, going seven innings and allowed eight hits and one walk, while also recording three strikeouts for BE/Winnebago. Teammates Bobby Lindsey, Huse and Gavin Storbeck each recorded a hit in the game.

Blue Earth/Winnebago's next game will also be a double-header. They will take on Minnesota Lake at the Faribault County Fairgrounds on Monday, June 11.

The first game of the double dip will begin at 6 p.m.
