ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — For the first time in the 21-year history of the Sally Ordway Irvine Awards, the public will be invited to attend Monday's ceremony in St. Paul.

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is hosting the ceremony.

There is no admission charge, but guests are asked to register online for free passes.

The Sally Awards used to be held in the 300-seat McKnight Theatre. Ordway president and CEO Patricia A. Mitchell says this year, the center is hosting the event in the larger Music Theater, which can accommodate more guests.

More than 150 individuals and organizations from throughout Minnesota were nominated for this year's Sally Awards. This year's awards are dedicated to the memory of arts promoter Sue McLean, who died in May 2013.
