I like to do woodworking in the summer because all my shop equipment is in a unheater building. I like to make toys for my grandchildren and great grandchildren, also for my wife and daughter-inlaws.

Hello Old2Man, A person can make a lot of beautiful things out of wood. I love all sorts of crafts but I’ve never attempted too much with wood. Wood is so expensive these days a person can’t afford to mess up & have to start over. I’ve bought pre-made unfinished items like shelf’s or cabinets where they just need to be sanded & stained/painted. Although I’d love to be able to make a wide variety of items. What kind of toys do you make your Grand & Great Grandchildren? Have you ever made furniture or wall decorations?
