I just wanted to say thank you for the hard work you have put into helping with the organization of a remodel or new school. I just wanted to express some of my concerns... We know that the votes for a new school outweigh the decision of a remodel. We do not support the decision to put our taxpayer's money towards a remodel- We are not effectively using our money for a quality facility. We will be paying additional fees year in and year out to apply bandaids to the surface of the building. If we choose to pay a little more- we won't need to fix such big projects year after year. My husband and I agree that we would vote AGAINST the referendum if the decision is to remodel. I believe this is important information to understand the many people do not want to waste money on a bandaid.
I agree Brandy. I'm not the only no vote on this poll that is strongly set on a new school. Some of those no votes will be there no matter what is put forward. I do think that many of the yes votes could stay on board for a new building after everyone is educated properly. Many people in our district want to see something done to improve our school as I do. I just hate to see the school board rush into a poor decision going against the straw poll. We need to find a better way of seeing what the vote would really be.
I wish that the question would have been phrased with a build a new school or remodel the existing or a a/b/c/ with c being I would rather build new. I do not think this poll will represent what the community thinks.

I'm in favor of a new school, but I believe that spending $16 million on our existing school is a waste. Hopefully USC will be going for years making a new building the smart investment. The way it looks currently it will only cost $300.00 per year @ 20 years for my future children to attend a $25 million new school. I'm on board for new, but will vote no on a remodel.
