A Blue Earth soldier was welcomed home with a parade over the noon hour on Friday, April 4th.

Specialist Andrew Murphy rode on a fire truck through downtown Blue Earth on a beautiful sunny day. Citizens lined the street, as did students from the Blue Earth Area Schools.

Murphy has been serving in Afghanistan for the past year. He will be staying in Blue Earth for about three months, before returning to school in Arizona.
