Finalists for BE City Adminstrator narrowed to two

The finalists for the job as Blue Earth city administrator has been narrowed to two.

After interviewing four candidates on Saturday morning, the council narrowed the choices to two; Madelia City Administrator Kathy Bailey and former Oronoco City Clerk/Treasurer Cheryl Nymann.

The other two who were interviewed were Canby City Administrator Diane Miller and former North Fond du Lac, Wisc., City Manager Alfred Vacanti.

A fifth candidate, Julia Petit of Pomeroy, Iowa, was unable to be contacted and was not interviewed.

The council was expected to possibly make further decisions at their regular meeting on Monday night, July 21.
