The Blue Earth Area Buccaneer gymnastics team was second at the Section 2A gymnastics meet in Waseca on Friday night. They scored 134.8 points. New Prague was in first with 143.625 points and will go to the State Meet this week.

Blaire Zierke and Julia Meyer will represent BEA at the State Meet. Zierke was fourth in all-around with a 34.650, while Meyer was third on the balance beam with a score of 9.025.

Both will compete this Friday at State, at 11 a.m.
