Pirates win, lose at State, play Friday – Click here for more
The Blue Earth Pirates won their game at the State Tournament last Friday night, defeating Forest Lake 4-0. Then on Sunday, the Pirates lost to Hanska by a score of 3-1. The loss moves them into the losers bracket. They will now play again this Friday, trying to work their way back into the championship game on Monday, Labor Day. On Friday, Sept. 4, they will play St. Cloud Snappers at 8:30 p.m. If they win that game they would play at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5. If they win again, their next game would be a 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, with another game at 3:30 p.m. that same day. They would next be in the championship game on Monday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m.
