The Primary Election will be held across Minnesota on Tuesday, Aug. 10.

In Faribault County, voters will help decide who will be on the ballot in November for several state-wide races.

They will also be able to vote for one of three candidates for county recorder, with the top two vote getters advancing to the General Election ballot in November.

Voters in District 2 of Faribault County will also be able to vote for one of four candidates for commissioner. Again, the top two vote getters will face off in the General Election.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the cities in the county, and may open as late as 10 a.m. in some townships.

Results of the election on Tuesday will be posted on the Register’s website as soon as possible.
