The Blue Earth Pirates won their first game at the State Baseball Tournament last Saturday, defeating the Chanhassen Redbirds in a close one, 2-1. Details will be in this coming weekend’s Faribault County Register.

The Pirates next play Detroit Lakes this coming Saturday, Aug. 25 in St. Cloud at 5:30 p.m.
