After a 30 minute closed session on Monday night, the Wells City Council voted unanimously to fire city administrator Steve Bloom, effective immediately.

The termination came after a complaint had been filed against Bloom, but details on the complaint were not immediately available.

Bloom, who was hired last October, was due for his six month review soon.

No details were released as far as the plan for hiring a new administrator.
