An armed robbery occurred at the Super 8 Motel in Blue Earth in the early morning hours of Memorial Day, Monday, May 27.

Blue Earth Police responded to the call at 2:27 a.m. and a female motel employee stated she had been robbed at gunpoint and the suspect fled with an unspecified amount of cash.

The suspect was described at being a white male, medium build, approximately 6-foot-2 with dirty blond hair and an unshaven face. He was wearing a white T-shirt and dirty blue jeans.
