Breaking news from the city of Blue Earth:

Mn/DOT announced this morning that the Seventh Street roundabout will open on Saturday. The detour will no longer go around Sailor and Walnut Streets behind Kwik Trip, but will move straight through Seventh Street (east/west) to Rice St., south on Rice to 14th Street, east of 14th Street to TH 169 to continue south.

Starting Monday, September 9th construction will move south of Seventh Street on TH 169 with full pavement removal. Access to businesses south of 7th Street will include the Ag Center and as far south as the Cemetery. There will be access to all businesses.
