The Blue Earth Area Buccaneers lost to the Fairmont Cardinals on Friday night, 40-22 in a South Central Conference clash at Wilson Field in Blue Earth.

For the second game in a row, there was a delay in the action due to lightning and rain. This time it was for an hour.
