DATE CHANGE FOR “1984” AT BEAHS
The performance dates for the fall play at Blue Earth Area High School have been changed again, and are back to what they were originally set as.
The new correct dates for the BEAHS production of the drama “1984” are this Thursday and Friday, Nov. 14 and 15, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center of Blue Earth Area High School. There has been some confusion over production dates. The dates were changed to Friday and Saturday, but now are back to being Thursday, Friday.
Tickets will be sold at the door 30 minutes before the production each night.
This version for the stage was adapted from the George Orwell novel by Robert Owens, Wilton E. Hall Jr., and William A. Miles, Jr.

Drama students have been directed by Kurt Steinke. Lighting and set work was done by Mike Ellingsen.
This powerful drama depicts depicts the horrors of man’s fate in a society where Big Brother is always watching – where everything that is not prohibited is compulsory. With the recent concern about government eavesdropping, the play is particularly timely.
