The Blue Earth Area School Board voted this past Monday night, April 13, to close the Winnebago Elementary effective at the end of this school year. The vote was 5-1 in favor of the resolution to close the school with board member Amber Patten voting no and board member Lori Frisk Thompson absent from the meeting.
