Highway 109 closed in Wells due to utility failure

Highway 109 in Wells has closed due to problems with city utilities, according to a report from MnDOT at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28..

Motorists are being detoured to Faribault County Road 21 and Highway 22 until further notice.

The location of the utility failure is one block west of Highway 22 in Wells. The duration of the detour is unknown at this time.
