The Blue Earth Police Department reports a rash of car windows being smashed around the city, with valuables then being stolen out of the vehicles. There have been at least five incidents reported, some happening in the daytime and others in the evening. There were reports after the family bingo night at Pemberton Auditorium on Thursday, March 16, and another at the Blue Earth Senior Center, as well as cars parked on the streets in front of residences. Anyone with any information on these incidents, or sees anyone looking through vehicle windows or acting suspicious, is urged to contact the Blue Earth Police Department at 526-5959. The police also remind people to not keep valuables in their vehicles.
