St. Casimir receives bomb threat – click here for details
Around 8:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 7, the Wells Police Department along with the Faribault County Sheriff’s office, Minnesota State Patrol, and Wells Fire and Ambulance were notified that St. Casimir’s School in Wells had received a bomb threat.
According to the Wells Police Department, the building was not occupied at the time of the threat due to morning services. The building was cleared by law enforcement and deemed not to be a credible threat.
Students were released for the remainder of the day.
Wells Police Department state there is no threat to public safety.
