COVID-19 cases at 12 – Click here for details

The number of positive COVID-19 cases in both Minnesota and Faribault County jumped up over the weekend.

The number of cases in Faribault County now stands at 10, with no deaths reported. (It had been listed at 12 over the weekend but dropped to 10 on Monday morning.)

Martin County now stands at 112 with four deaths, Freeborn County is at 44, Blue Earth County at 65, Waseca County at 16.

Statewide the number of confirmed cases is at 11,271 as of Monday morning, May 11. Patients no longer needing isolation is at 6,882. There have been 578 deaths, with 464 of those in long-term care or assisted living facilities.

Total cases requiring hospitalization was at 1,657. Still hospitalized as of Monday were 434 persons, with 199 of those in ICU.
