No injuries in school bus accident

Blue Earth Police were called to a car/school bus accident at about 3:15 p.m. on Monday, March 2, according to a report.

The school bus, driven by Karen Tweto of Frost, was stopped on CR44 on the north side of the high school with its red warning lights on and stop sign out, dropping off a student.

A 1996 Ford, driven by Cody Klinksiek of Blue Earth, was eastbound and struck the right rear corner of the school bus, according to the report.

There were 12 students on the bus and two passengers in the car at the time of the accident. There were no injuries reported.

Klinksiek will be cited for a school bus stop arm violation, according to a report from the police department.
