Four of eight area wrestlers placed at the individual portion of the State Wrestling Tournament, when they traveled to the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2.

Kysten Zierke, a junior at Blue Earth Area, wrestling at 195 pounds took home the silver medal.

Carter Hanson the 160-pound senior BEA wrestler went home with the sixth place medal.

Dylan Herman of United South Central took third place and went home with the bronze. Also from USC was Colten Carlson who came in fourth place.
