Alden motorcyclist hits pavement hard

An Alden man was injured in a motorcycle accident in Blue Earth on Friday, June 2.

The accident occurred at 8:55 a.m., at the intersection of E. Sixth and Walnut streets, near the Blue Earth Public Safety building, according to a report by the Minnesota State Highway Patrol.

Christopher Adam Beaver, 34, of Alden, was riding his 2002 Honda VTX 1800 when he hit a patch of loose gravel, lost control and laid the bike over on its left side.

Beaver was taken to United Health District hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene were the Blue Earth Police Department, UHD Ambulance and Blue Earth Fire Department.
