W’bago city administrator Jacob Skluzacek was offered a job as Elko New Market city planner, contingent on a background check.

Winnebago city administrator Jacob Skluzacek has recently been offered a position as Elko New Market’s city planner.

Skluzacek shares the offer is contingent upon the success of routine background check procedures. He expects he will be officially hired in early January of next year if all goes well.

Skluzacek, who participated in two interviews throughout the application process, plans to accept the position if it is awarded to him.

In the meantime, Skluzacek will continue his work as Winnebago’s city administrator, a position which he has held since the summer of 2019.
