Accident in Blue Earth involves classic ‘67 Mustang

A classic car was involved in a two-vehicle accident in Blue Earth on Thursday, Sept. 7.
The accident happened at 4:58 p.m. at the intersection of Seventh Street and Ramsey Street, according to a report from the Blue Earth Police Department.
A 1967 Ford Mustang, driven by Andrew Lorenzen, 52, of Blue Earth, was headed west on Seventh Street when it struck a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by Danielle Garlick, 34, of Blue Earth.
Garlick was northbound on Ramsey Street, stopped at the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection, causing the crash.
Garlick was cited for failure to yield to the right of way, according to the report.
Assisting at the scene were the Blue Earth Fire Police Department, Blue Earth Fire Department, UHD Ambulance Service and the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office.
