Kasota — Jean M. (Ritter) Strand, age 68, of Kasota, died Feb. 8, 2008, at Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral services were held on Feb. 13, 2008, at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago, with Rev. Mark McNea officiating. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery, Winnebago. Spencer-Owen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Jan. 28, 1940, at Winnebago, the daughter of Paul and Margaret (Hall) Ritter.

She is survived by her husband: Gerald Strand of St. Peter, daughter: Kacey (David) Pehrson, of St. Peter, sons: Rick Srand special friend, Terri Brock of Kasota, Randy “Mike Ivorsen” Strand and fiancee, Leah Enbom of Arlington; father: Paul (Ginny) Ritter of Lake Crystal, brothers: Marlin (Jane) Ritter of Owatonna and Doug (Julie) Ritter of Delaware, Ohio.
