Lawrence J. “Bud” Hefner, 86

Easton — Lawrence J. “Bud” Hefner, age 86, of Easton, died Feb. 9, 2008 at the United Hospital in Blue Earth. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Feb. 13, 2008 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Easton. Father Eugene Stenzel officiated and burial was in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Barber Township, Faribault County. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

Lawrence “Bud” J. Hefner was born March 7, 1921, the son of Joe and Matilda “Tilly” (Hartman) Hefner on the family farm in Barber Township, Faribault County.

He is survived by one daughter: Mary Holland of Eau Claire, Wis., one son: Don Hefner (special friend Sharon Ackerman) of Easton; and daughter-in-law: Lisa Hefner of Winnebago.
