Carol J. Malwitz, 75

Carol J. Malwitz — Mrs. Carol J. Malwitz, age 75, of Blue Earth, died Feb. 19, 2008, at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Funeral services were held Feb. 23, 2008, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dale Kohrs officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Nov. 9, 1932, at Howard, S.D., the daughter of Clarence Stock and Edna Rasmussen.

Carol attended school at Howard. On Feb. 17, 1952 she married Leonard A. Malwitz at Howard. She was a homemaker for her family and worked at St. Lukes in the laundry and housekeeping. Carol was known for her bread making and trying new recipes. She brought many goodies to St. Lukes and a lot of love and humor to the residents and staff.

Survivors include: her husband, Leonard Malwitz of Blue Earth, her sons, Wade Malwitz of Elk River, Craig Malwitz of Columbia Heights, Clint (Ann) Malwitz of Lake Elmo, her daughters, Janet (Robert) Doty of Monroe, Iowa, April (David) McGaver of Woodbury, eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter, brother, Maynard (Pat) Stock of Howard, sisters, Betty (Louie) Karlan of DeSmet, S.D., JoAnn (Glen) Thompson of Aurora, S.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
