Kathleen G. Pfaffinger, 73

Blue Earth — Kathleen G. Pfaffinger, age 73, of Blue Earth, died Feb. 29, 2008, at Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral services were held March 4, 2008, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth with Father Mark McNea officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Blue Earth.

She was born Oct. 7, 1934, at Sauk Rapids, the daughter of Miles and Gertrude (Oehrlein) Walker.

Kathleen was a graduate of Blue Earth High School in 1952. She worked at Jostens, the Owatonna Canning Co. and the Blue Earth Medical Center. On Jan. 24, 1959, she married Edward G. Pfaffinger at Blue Earth. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and embroidery.

Kathleen Pfaffinger is survived by her husband, Edward of Blue Earth, her daughter, Cheryl (Mark) Teems of Blue Earth, her sons David (Denise) Pfaffinger of Blue Earth, Dan Pfaffinger of Blue Earth, four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Rachel Pfaffinger, Taylor and Trevor Teems, her mother, Gertrude Walker of Blue Earth.

She was preceded in death by her father, one infant daughter, and one sister.
