Joan Louise Becker, 78

Easton — Joan Louise Becker, age 78, of Easton, died March 28, 2008 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center of Blue Earth. Funeral Services were held March 31, 2008 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Easton. Father Eugene Stenzel and Deacon Gene Paul officiated. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

Joan Louise Becker was born June 16, 1929 in rural Adrian, the daughter of Frank and Henrietta (Loosbrock) Bullerman. Joan married Raymond A. Becker on June 29, 1949 in Adrian.

She attended Mankato Commercial College and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and OLMC Catholic Church CCW. Joan enjoyed her children and grandchildren, baking and cooking.

Joan Louis Becker is survived by three sons: Rick (Anne) Becker of Minnesota Lake/LeCenter, Don Becker (Pam Schull) of Easton, Bill (Diane) Becker of Hartland; eight daughters: Connie (Arnie) Sonnek of Easton, Joyce (Carlton) Eastvold Jr. of Winnebago, Barb Grant (Gary Spatenka) of Owatonna, Deb (Dave) Schmitt of Rochester, Shel (Roger Iliff) Caldwell of Winnebago, Karen (Bill) Schaible of Delavan, Diane (Mark) Mensing of Blue Earth and Jackie (Chris) Guibert of Rochester; 31 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Elaine Kellen of Adrian and Sister Joyce Bullerman of Dubuque, Iowa; one brother: Landel “Boysie” (Marlene) Bullerman of Adrian; along with many nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, parents, one brother, one sister, one grandson and one son-in-law.
