Marian E. Cox, 84

Amboy — Marian E. Cox, age 84, of Amboy, died Monday, April 14, 2008, at Parker Oaks Retirement Community in Winnebago.

Memorial services were held Saturday, April 19, at 11 a.m. in the United Methodist Church in Amboy with the Reverend Jean Sidner officiating. Burial took place in Sterling Cemetery in Amboy.

Visitation was held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Marian was born March 11, 1924, at Amboy, the daughter of Albert and Catherine (Busse) Scramlin.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Cox of Amboy; daughters, Linda Karow of Mankato and Nancy (Dan) Thomas of Waseca; and sister Betty Caldwell.
