Retha Irene Froehle, 82

Marion, Iowa — Retha Irene (Brown) Froehle, 82, a resident of Crestview Acres Care Center in Marion, died April 22, 2008, following a long illness. Services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2008, at Lovely Lane United Methodist Church, 2424 42nd St. NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa with Reverend Paul Wilcox officiating. Graveside Committal on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Fayette/Grandview Cemetery, Fayette, Iowa.

Retha was born Nov. 22, 1925, the daughter of Albert and Gladys (Greenough) Brown in Fayette County.

Retha’s husband Donald Froehle, taught social studies and was a counselor at Blue Earth High School from 1955-1968.

Survivors include her husband, Don of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Becky (Larry) Soukup of Agra, Okla. and son Mike (Rhonda) Froehle of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
