Truman — Funeral services for Walter Herman Edward Schulz were held June 24, 2008, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Willow Creek, with Rev. Matthew Rusert officiating. Burial was in St. John’s Lutheran South Cemetery.

Walter Herman Edward Schulz, 86, entered eternal life on June 20, 2008 at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman. He was born on Aug. 1, 1921 on a farm located south of Willow Creek store, the son of Julious H. and Emma (Sieg) Schulz.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Schulz of Truman, daughters, Lavonne Rennpferd (friend John Wilness) of Amboy, and Lynette Peterson of Litchfield, sister, Erna (Bob) Thorson of Eagle Bend.

Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago was in charge of arrangements.
