Craig M. Hanson, 61

Fairmont — Craig M. Hanson, age 61, of Fairmont, died July 5, 2008 at his home. Funeral services were held July 11, 2008 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service assisted the family with the arrangements.

Craig Murray Hanson was born to Morris R. and Margie M. (Schofield) Hanson on Nov. 5, 1946.

Craig is survived by his son, Nathan Nielsen and special friend, Dawn Nielsen, both of Pipestone. He is survived by his mother, Margie Hanson of Blue Earth, brothers, Chuck (Carol) Hanson of Roseburg, Ore., Morris D. (Barbara) Hanson of Winnebago, Mike (Margaret) Hanson of Wellington, New Zealand; sister, Joy (Gary) Anderson of Big Fork; nephews and nieces, Corey Hanson of Roseburg, Curt Hanson of Portland, Ore., Ron Hanson of Wellington, Erica Kotero of Los Angeles, Mark Hanson of Wellington and Jenna Hanson of Minneapolis. He also has many great nieces and nephews. Craig will be missed by his friends, co-workers at MRCI and REM Heartland; and special thanks to Craig’s friend, Steve Gilbertson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Morris R. Hanson in 2001.
