Grant F. Bahls, 49

Huntley — Grant F. Bahls, age 49, of Huntley, died Monday, July 14, 2008, on Country Road 1 south of Huntley.

Memorial services were held Saturday, July 19, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago with the Reverend Ronald Jobe officiating.

Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery in Winnebago.

Visitation was held from 12 p.m. until the time of services at the church on Saturday.

Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago handled the arrangements.

Grant was born Aug. 11, 1958, at Fairmont, the son of Harry and Dorothy (Rabe) Bahls.

He was a graduate of Granada High School in 1976. Grant worked for Green Giant and Telex in Blue Earth for 31 years until they closed. Recently, he was employed at Wal-Mart in Blue Earth.

Grant was a member of the Center Creek Gun Club and taught gun safety since 1988.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Bahls of Blue Earth; aunt, Gertrude Gress of Ricketts, Iowa; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, William.
