Henry ‘Bill’ Wrase, 74

Frost — Henry ‘Bill’ Wrase, age 74, of Frost, died July 15, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Private family funeral services will be held at a later date with burial taking place in United Lutheran Cemetery in Frost.

Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Blue Earth is assisting the family with arrangements.

Henry William Wrase was born Jan. 11, 1934, in Lakefield, the son of Henry and Anna (Schmidt) Wrase.

He entered the U.S. Navy after graduating from Lakefield High School in 1952. He served aboard the USS Rendova during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged on Aug. 6, 1960.

Bill was employed in the road construction industry for 40 years, retiring from Buffalo Bituminous in 2000.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Wrase of Frost; son, Derek (Diane) Wrase of Northwood, Iowa; daughter, Jacalyn (Bruce) Dreier of Minneapolis; son, Patrick (Connie) Wrase of Gaylord; son, Thomas (Autumn) Wrase of Fairmont; mother-in-law, Clarice Brekke of Frost; four sisters and two brothers. ‘Grandpa Bill’ is also survived by his nine grandchildren, Alyson and Ayrica Wrase of Frost, Jarrod and Jade Dreier of Minneapolis, Leah (Sean) Brandt of Burnsville, Justina Griebel and Ana Wrase of Gaylord and Tyler and Teigan Wrase of Fairmont.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
