Clarence N. Swain, 75

Kiester — Clarence Norman Swain, age 75, of Kiester, died Sept. 28, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Wells. Funeral Services were held Oct. 1, 2008, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in rural Elmore with Pastor Dale Kohrs officiating. Private family burial occurred in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth, Faribault County.

Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Clarence Swain was born May 10, 1933, in Ogden, Iowa, the son of Ray and Imogene (Morgan) Swain.

Clarence is survived by his wife of 30 years, Pearl of Kiester; stepchildren: Judy (Chuck) Knapp of Fort Smith, Ark., Jeff (Debbie) Rinehart of Naperville, Ill., Keith (Carol) Rinehart of Kiester, Brian (Carrie) Rinehart of Anamosa, Iowa; sisters Karen (Larry) Moats of Middleton, Idaho and Georgia Norem of Charles City, Iowa; an aunt LaRue Ballentine of Boone, Iowa.
