Edwin Dontje, 81

Lakota, Iowa — Edwin Dontje, age 81, of Lakota, died Oct. 3, 2008, at his home in Lakota.

Funeral services for Edwin were held Oct. 8, 2008, at the Lakota Eagle Center. Burial followed at Highland Home Cemetery in Ledyard, Iowa.

Winter Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements.

Edwin is survived by two daughters Marilyn (Lowell) Eichenburger of Lakota and Nitah (Robert) Boettcher of Blue Earth, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; sister Edna (Howard) Harris of Webster City, Iowa, his aunt Grace Johnson of Ledyard, daughter-in-law Sue (Don) Lang of Colorado, and two sisters-in-law Alfa (Otto) Hertzke and Lorraine (Robert) Stewart, all of Lakota; and by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
