Edna Joel, 71

Lakota, Iowa — Edna Joel, age 71, of Lakota, Iowa, died Nov. 14, 2008, at Timely Mission Nursing Home in Buffalo Center, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Nov. 19, 2008, at the Community Chapel in Lakota. Pastor Ron Wheeler officiated and burial was in Rice Lake Cemetery at Delavan.

Winter Funeral Home in Buffalo Center was in charge of arrangements.

Edna Joan Joel was born April 5, 1937, at Lakota, to Alden and Hannah (Bosma) Wilcox.

Survivors include two daughters Susan (Ralph) Gonsalez of Elmore and Peggy (Sal) Gonsalez of Kiester; a son James (Amy) Joel of Fairmont; a daughter-in-law Gina Joel of Oregon; brothers Roger (Elaine) Wilcox of Iowa and Alfred (Evelyn) Wilcox of Missouri.
